Belts take Iraq by storm!

Recent enforcement of belts in the miltary has made lots of people feel unhappy. Not many solutions are out but to comply... even in off duty time. One looses individuality in this drab world.

What is that? Oh my! a hot pink reflective belt? Can't be a pink belt or a light pink reflective belt!

Well it's true people. I now have 14 different colors of reflective belts including 3 different pink colors.

Now what's wrong to try to match your belt to your shoes?

The response: Overwhelming! Thousands of reflective belts have been shipped to happy troups in Iraq in a rainbow of colors.

Over here in Iraq, we aren't afforded much individuality. But with these brightly colored reflective belts, we can show a little color in an otherwise drab world. Thanks for your support.

USPS Shipping assistant 3.0 fails to work

I started using the USPS Shipping assistant 3.0 on April 1 2007. Was able to produce a lable

Then on the 2 I got the message "Label date must be within the next 7 days" OK so I tried the

03/04/07 - nope
04/04/07 - works

Soooo, it seems that the stupid STUPID thing confused the day and the month.

I dated my packages for the 2nd and 3 and 4 on the 04/04/07.

Probem is now it's the 5th and I can't pull that trick anymore.

I sent an email to ICC "I customer don't care" and they replied with an equally stupid solution.

Here is the complaint:

Shipping assistant refuses to take my ship date even though I set it for
the correct day.

It appears the month / day are mixed up

Here is their solution

Please accept my apologies for the problems you are having with our site. The feature you mention seems to be working okay now. Wow what insightfull resolution... Thanks for NOTHING!

My ecommerce store is Breflective.com

UPDATE
The problem was with the date on my computer. It was set to canadian format date dd/mm/yy and it must be set to mm/dd/yy to work correctly. This is completely brainless.
on Win XP this can be found in control panel > Regional and language option.

I'm working on integrating USPS web tools to my web site in order to get more efficient with making lables.

USPS Shipping assistant 3.0 BLAH

I was using click and ship from the USPS web site for a few years.

I discovered that one can add delivery confirmation to first class parcels for cheaper if using the shipping assistant.

I downloaded and install the shipping assistant 3.0.... What a bad bad BAD BAAAD Piece of software. Do the people who design this software actually use it?

I bet they never tried to import from an address book containg APO address. - Most don't work.

Also, I have to adjust the ship date to 4/4/2007 because apparently it thinks that 3/4/2007 is in march not april and so it won't allow to print a lable.

Oh, it's really really slow and won't work on win 98 which is a problem for older shippers still having machines a few years old.

Get it together Post office.... Are you trying to get like Microsoft and releasing crappy software.

I ship dozens of packages each day I'm not certain this shipping assistant will work for me.
